Guiding Principles

The Revenue Enablement Society is organized as a network of many different connected groups of people all over the world. Our members participate in discussions, exchange information with each other on our platform, get together in local chapter meetings, pick up the phone and call each other, connect at events, and gather at our annual conference.

We are a network of volunteers. Virtual teams form and disband to create value the rest of us can use. Our growth, energy, and engagement are all by-products of our organizing structure. As we grow, we all need to understand how important culture is to a community. We believe that we’re in a market of extreme change and volatility. During uncertain times, it’s an advantage to have a safe place to ask the questions you can’t ask at work, or experiment with different techniques before bringing them back to work.

As we look to anchor what we’ve established – we need to make sure we clearly communicate the core operating system that allows our network to thrive. It is imperative that every member not only understand these guiding principles but also works diligently to protect them. Why? Without them – we have no culture and then we lose our guidance system. With them, we are a strong vibrant force.

We reference these principles before meetings or while interacting with members. Our leadership has a clear expectation that members follow the principles or choose to leave the society.

RESociety.global is an educational and valuable place to meet, engage and network with people involved in all facets of revenue enablement, both locally and globally. Our site acts as a Global Resource Center to engage with the greater global Revenue Enablement Community.

As a member you won’t need to go it alone. You're just a click away from engaging with over 11,000 members, across more than 50 countries, in our organization. Here you have the opportunity to ask questions, hear stories from peers throughout the community, share your own knowledge and experiences, meet and learn from guest speakers at local events, gain valuable resources and keep on top of the latest revenue enablement tools and technology solutions.

RES Community Platform

The purpose of the RES Community website is to provide our members with a dedicated, online presence to share successes, challenges, constructive feedback, questions, and goals instead of products or services. If our members find a product or service helpful, they can share their experience with the group in a respectful way.

As RES is a volunteer organization, this community is self-moderated. The RES Community moderation guidelines in relation to Suppliers/Vendors are as follows:

Suppliers/Vendors SHOULD
  • Lend their expertise in the form of conceptual ideas/tactics/frameworks that have arisen from their work.
  • Comment on enablement within their organization.
  • Contribute in other ways that not self-promotional.
Suppliers/Vendors SHOULD NOT
  • Talk about their products.
  • Link to their sites, regardless if it's a blog or product video.
  • Ask leading questions that are really just prospecting posts in disguise.

The entire list of RES Community Rules, Etiquette, and Privacy Guidelines can be found in the Terms & Conditions.
